Reading\, refl ecting and practicing stories between sessions is part of the work.\nWe us e an action/reflection model with some leader presentations and a lot of i nteraction. All learning will take place in a prayerful and playful atmosp here with creative and experienced Godly Play trainers.\nCost $350 CDN (i ncludes access to story materials and Training Materials) plus you need ac cess to/purchase of Teaching Godly Play by Rev. To enjoy the day\, with limited technological glitches\, participants shou ld have downloaded Zoom to their computer\, laptop or tablet\, be familiar with it and have stable Internet.\nSegments within any day will be no mor e than 90 minutes with breaks. The training is very full and fun - while o nline\, commit to giving it your full attention.\nStorytelling and Small G roups:\nEach participant will tell a story\, by heart\, to be shared with the group. All participants will be connected with a small group as well a s a trainer to assist with exploring the story\, the story materials\, and to deepen everyone's understanding of the story genre.\nThere will be thr ee one hour small group sessions which will take place in between Saturday sessions. Times to be negotiated.\nSmall groups and the corresponding set of stories will be pre-assigned. Participants will choose a story from on e of the three genres and be required to do some preparation and reading a head of time.\nResources:\nEach participant will receive all the stories s cripts used in the training\, access to a printable training binder\, mate rials for responding to the story\, and if needed the materials required t o tell the story. \nWe will mail materials to you and the cost of mailing back the story materials is covered in the cost of training.
